    Well, I hardly agree with you.

    Alkaline water is a competitor to your company, that is why you try to downgrade it. Not nice strategies…

      We are just warning the public of inherent dangers of drinking alkaline water long term. No strategies involved here, only stating scientific facts. Many natural health gurus such as Dr Mercola, David Wolfe, Dr Mark Sircus etc have been talking about the adverse effects of alkalizing machines for a long, long time.

    Total misinformation and a very badly written article to promote your product (which maybe a good one for all what I know). Let me tell you and the readers of this article why they should disregard everything said here.

    Alkaline water does NOT dilute stomach acid (unless of course you drink gallons of it while you eat). Your stomach acid is NOT present in the stomach when there is no food there (because if there was acid in the stomach all the time then it would digest itself). So the alkaline water dilutes stomach acid and all of the arguments following that are completely invalid.

    Secondly there are two kinds of Alkaline water. The one kind is what you mention which is the sub optimal kind which is electrically dissociated water, which recombine quite fast and actually may do nothing for you in terms of being Alkaline. The second kind is water that is alkaline through the infusion of alkaline minerals that are beneficial to the body. These minerals are able to get to a cellular lever faster with alkaline water and none of these purported bad effects have been observed. If anyone wants to understand the benefits of alkaline water and alkalizing the body they should read up the work of Dr Robert O Young.

      Thank you Ravik for your comments. We wholeheartedly agree with you that water infused with alkaline minerals are beneficial for the body and we advocate drinking such mineral-rich water. It is really not about pH but mineral content in the water. In the article, we are actually writing about artificially alkalized water through electrolysis. Some of these has pH as high as 9.5. While it is true that stomach acids are not present when there is no food, it is a fact that food is almost always present in the stomach during our waking hours. Considering that food remains in the stomach for hours after ingesting, it is inevitable that stomach acids are weakened when we continually ingest water with high pH.
