The missing link in cancer prevention … minerals!
Cancer is a modern disease
In 2010, a team of researchers from Manchester University examined hundreds of mummified bodies, fossil records and classical medical literature and found no sign of cancer except for one isolated case. With data from historical sources spanning three thousand years, the scientists concluded that cancers must have been rare in ancient times. During a presentation to a group of UK oncologists, Professor David who headed research team said, “There is nothing in the natural environment that can cause cancer. So it has to be a man-made disease, down to pollution and changes to our diet and lifestyle.”
Cancer is a modern disease caused by environmental factors such as pollution and diet.
The study also indicated that it was not until the 17th century that the first reports of cancer appeared in scientific studies. Alarmingly, the rate of cancer occurrence has risen dramatically. Today, according to the American Cancer Society, 41 percent of all US adults will develop cancer in their lifetime! In China, cancer has become the nation’s biggest killer. In 2007, the disease was responsible for one in five deaths in the country, an increase of 80 percent since the start of economic reforms 30 years earlier.
And according to Singapore’s Ministry of Health, 1 in 3 Singaporean dies of cancer.
The real causes of cancer are toxicity and deficiencies
The enemies of health have long been identified as toxicity and deficiency. Air, soil and water are globally polluted. Commercial cleaning agents, detergents, insecticides, and cosmetics all contain known carcinogenic ingredients. Tap water is chlorinated and fluoridated, both additives are carcinogenic. There is also increased radiation dangers from x-rays, microwaves and radio frequencies, which have recently been classified as possibly carcinogenic to humans by the World Health Organisation.
Moreover, food grown on impoverished soil has lost a major part of its nutritional value. Mineral-deficiency is the result of consuming crops produced on depleted soils with today’s farming techniques. What’s more, most of the food consumed by the general population is heavily processed and adulterated with chemical additives. Consequently, people are more severely toxic and their bodies more damaged.
Optimizing mineral intake to Prevent cancers
Diet is estimated to contribute to one third of all cancers. Studies on public health consistently show that people who eat only small amounts of fruits and vegetables have an increased risk of developing cancer. Recent experimental evidence also indicates that vitamin and mineral deficiencies can lead to DNA damage.
Researchers from Japan’s National Cancer Center in Tokyo have found that an increased intake of magnesium reduces a man’s risk of colon cancer by over 50 per cent. An increase in niacin (vitamin B3) was found to be associated with a decrease in oral cancer. The mineral selenium has been shown in several studies to be effective in warding off various types of cancer, including breast, esophageal, stomach, prostate, liver and bladder cancers. Optimizing vitamin and mineral intake might therefore prevent cancer and other chronic diseases.
Minerals address the underlying causes of cancer
Minerals are nature’s water purification agents. Ionic minerals released by the earth into water bodies, interact with dissolved contaminants and toxins in the water, rendering them harmless to living organisms. This is how nature keeps its springs and oceans pure and clean, sustaining the millions of different life forms that live in the water. Similarly, without sufficient minerals in our bodies, the ability of the body to detoxify itself is thwarted.
Widespread mineral deficiencies have resulted in highly toxic individuals who are susceptible to cancers and other degenerative diseases. When such deficiencies are addressed through mineral supplementation and good quality mineral water, we can effectively counter the effects of toxicity in the modern environment to prevent cancers.
Minerals such as calcium, iron, zinc, cobalt, magnesium and other trace elements that are found naturally in soil and water are necessary for human physiology. We absorb these minerals into our body by eating plants, or livestock which have been raised on plants. However due to the massive mineral shortage in our food today, many of us suffers from some form of mineral deficiencies. The five major food groups are carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. Of these five, it is only minerals that cannot be produced by the body. We need to get minerals through food and water.
Minerals turn off cancer genes
Japanese Dr Hisatake Nojima, M.D calls trace minerals “gene minerals” because they regulate genetic activities. He said that If the body does not receive sufficient minerals, then people with a large amount of cancer genes will develop cancer, and those who have diabetes genes will develop diabetes. Similarly, people with allergy genes, will react to mites and pollen and develop atopy, asthma, and hay fever. However, when the body’s mineral requirements are met, it becomes more resistant to disease. Its natural healing ability is enhanced and defective genes cannot express.
In his book Mineral Deficiency and Illnesses, Dr Hisatake Nojima documented incidences of recovery and healing from leukaemia and other malignant tumours simply with consumption of water saturated with ionic minerals which he termed Super Mineral Water. Through introducing minerals to the body, the doctor witnessed complete recovery as well as remarkable improvements in the symptoms of diseases such as cancer, diabetes and atopy-related dermatitis.
Good quality minerals supplements can restore levels of trace elements to prevent modern day diseases including cancers by addressing the twin evils of environmental toxicity and nutritional deficiencies.
Adya Clarity is a mineral extract derived from black mica sourced in Japan. It provides a full spectrum of more than 60 ionic major and trace minerals that are readily absorbed by the body. Simply drinking water treated with Adya Clarity daily will supply the body with necessary minerals that addresses the root causes of many dreaded diseases even cancers.
